American born Chinese actor Alan Wan, has caught the attention of many in Southeast Asia with his charisma.
He was born and raised in New York but moved to Hong Kong in 2008 to participate in the Mr. Hong Kong pageant, where he made it into the Top 3 which led to many opportunities for him in Hong Kong. He has starred in Blockbuster Television Shows such as Triumph in the Skies 2, Tiger Cubs 2 and Ghost of Relativity to name a few. He is also known and loved amongst audiences for his sense of humour in the various variety shows that he has appeared in such as TVB food show Organized Dining.
In 2017, he was introduced to Singaporean audience with his first English speaking role in the Mediacorp Channel 5 drama Faculty acting alongside local actors such as Shane Pow and fellow FLY Entertainment artiste, Cheryl Chitty Tan. In the following year, he joined the cast of Senior Management acting with veteran actor Laurence Wong.
2019 was a big year for Alan – not only was it the release of his biggest project to date, 'The Rookies', a chinese action film written and directed by Alan Yuen, but it was also the year he decided to move to Singapore. Since then, he’s had the opportunity to work in a number of local production such as The Last Madame that aired in September 2019, and has recently completed production for Love by Numbers – his first leading role in Singapore.
Besides appearing on the small screen, Alan has also hosted several events including the FWD Christmas Party 2017 in Hong Kong, and Geberit Appreciation Night 2019 in Singapore.
