Rachel Wan is a Singapore-born actress is best known and loved for her lead role as Yoke Shelley in "Kin", a long-running television series which won Best Telenovela in the Asian Academy Creative Awards (2020).

Rachel was trained in acting at Lasalle College of the Arts in Singapore, as well as with the Ivana Chubbuck technique with Star Magic in the Philippines. She also speaks both Mandarin and Tagalog. Very soon after graduating, Rachel landed her first breakout lead role as Lisa Wong in "Fine Tune" (2016). Thereafter, she has starred in several more television series such as "The Cheaters App", "No Catalogue" and "Classmates".

Rachel's personal goal in her acting career is to be a flexible enough actress, so as to not have a typecast in the roles she plays. Moving forward, Rachel is looking to explore and stretch her capabilities even more not just in Asia, but worldwide.
